Beautiful and Brawny: Husqvarna Hatchet
Cool Tools just found a great new hatchet from Husqvarna. In the review, Lloyd Kahn writes that it's not just razor-sharp and makes beautiful cuts, but the design itself is aesthetically appealing--he was inspired to take up additional projects just to use it. I don't know about you, but any tool that motivates me to complete unfinished projects is certainly worth having.

Sears Releases Spring 2011 Catalogue
Sears's catalogue detailing all the new tools and deals for spring 2011 has just been announced. It's titled, "Cool Blue for Tools." Sears is holding a site- and store-wide sales event in honor of Presidents' Day, and the sale ends Tuesday. $8 off any $50 purchase (honoring Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln);
$10 off any $75 purchase (honoring Lincoln, twice-over);
$20 off any $150 purchase (honoring Jackson);
$50 off any $300 purchase (honoring Grant);
$100 off any $500 purchase (honoring Grant twice-over).
